It gives us, the members of the Penfield Democratic Party, great pleasure to introduce you to Tom Trevett, Candidate for the Penfield Town Board.

(Penfield, NY - August 9, 2010) Tom Trevett's campaign committee has announced that Lt. Governor Candidate, Mayor Robery Duffy and Congresswoman Louise Slaughter will appear in support of Trevett's candidacy for the Penfield Town Council at a family picnic on September 2, 2010 at the Dolomite Lodge behind the Town Hall in Penfield, New York. It has been organized by David Murphy for the Penfield Democratic Committee. Festivities for the families will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the serving of hot dogs and soft drinks.

Mayor Duffy is serving his second term as Mayor of Rochester and has been chosen by the Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo, to be his running mate for state-wide office.

Congresswoman Slaughter is serving her 13th term in Congress and is now the Chair of the Rules Committee, which has authority to determine which bills reach the floor of Congress for a vote.

"I am humbled that these two popular public officials would take time out from their own campaigns to help me bring my experience and plans to cut the costs of government to the future of Penfield."
